Skylight Installation Sydney
Skylights and roof windows installed and flashed by roofers — because what fails is the flashing, not the glass.
Why Choose Us
Skylight Installation You Can Trust
Flashed as part of the roof
Detailed properly at the junction, which is what determines whether it leaks in ten years.
Placed for the light you want
Orientation assessed rather than defaulting to the easiest spot.
Tile and metal roofs
Different flashing kits and details for each.
Warning Signs
Signs You Need Skylight Installation
Don't ignore these warning signs — small issues left untreated almost always turn into costly repairs. If you notice any of the following, contact us for a free inspection.
A skylight is a deliberate hole in your waterproofing. The unit itself is rarely what leaks; the junction between it and the surrounding roof is. That junction is roofing work, which is why we would rather install a skylight than be called to fix one somebody else fitted.
Placement is worth thinking about before installation, not after. Orientation determines how much light you get and how much heat comes with it, and on a tile roof the framing dictates where a unit can reasonably go.
All work is carried out under NSW Building Licence 471250C, covered by $20M public liability and backed by our 10-year workmanship guarantee.
Common Questions
Skylight Installation FAQs
Will a skylight leak?
Not if the flashing is right. Nearly every leaking skylight we are called to has a flashing problem, not a faulty unit.
Fixed or opening?
Opening units add ventilation, which is worth it in bathrooms and kitchens. Fixed units cost less and have fewer parts to fail.
Can I get one in a room with no direct roof above?
Sometimes, using a tubular unit through a shaft. It depends on what is in the way.
